Black America & U.S. Foreign Policy: A Town Hall Conversation

October 5, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Join the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Alpha Gamma Lambda Chapter (Harlem Alphas) as we partner with The Carnegie Endowment For International Peace to bring an engaging conversation around the impact of U.S. Foreign policy on Black America.

There is a precedent in Washington, DC for policy makers to make decisions about the nation’s foreign policy agenda without taking into consideration its impact on the nation’s domestic wellbeing. We want to hear from the community, as we welcome Carnegie Fellow and Harlem native, Dr. Christopher Shell.

Do our Nation’s foreign policy efforts undermine the progress and investment of Black America?

How do African American servicemen men and women fare during their time in, and after, the service?

What role does the Black American community believe America should take in international conflicts?
