The Gadson Gallery is many different but related things. One is the business identity of artist Laura R. Gadson which is not a gallery in the traditional understanding of the word. We do not represent other artists or showcase their work. We do host events related to the Ms Gadson’s work, the work of her art partner Shimoda and their joint venture The Harlem Aesthetic several times per year at Ms Gadson’s home/studio/gallery in Harlem. These events often incorporate additional artists and artisans who showcase and sell their work.
