BLACK MOVIES FOR MY WHITE FRIENDS

Black movies have been an important part of our history both as a reflective point and futuristic guide. From owning studios in the roaring 20s to making classics like Cornbread Earl and Me. Black producers, casting directors, actors and costume designers have used style, music and storytelling to free ourselves of the oppression and tap into the higher universal consciousness.

As a comic it’s the job of Ohene Cornelius to curate a night of entertainment with funny commentary, drop ins, and classic Black films.
