The Cathedral of St. John the Divine is the world’s largest Gothic Cathedral, combining soaring architecture with intimate spaces that inspire awe and reflection.
The Cathedral is open for sightseeing in addition to worship, prayer, meditation, and reflection. It is strongly encouraged that sightseeing visitors purchase timed tickets in advance. Groups of 10 people or more should contact our Education office at groups@stjohndivine.org or (212) 932-7347 to make advanced reservations.
All those who are seeking a place for prayer or meditation will be welcomed without charge.
